The School’s historic mission requires it to control the cost of its legal education. The School’s ability to fulfill its mission will be undermined if the cost of its education is beyond the students’ ability to pay.

Tuition Cost

Tuition at Nashville School of Law for the 2023-2024 academic year is $690 per credit hour. First year fees are $700 ($175 registration, $175 Westlaw, $175 LexisNexis and $175 Exam Soft), not including books.

Interested in dividing your payments up? Students may elect to pay tuition in full at registration, or in 10 monthly installments each year.

Scholarships

Nashville School of Law awards more than $60,000 in need- and performance-based scholarships each year to students. Students may apply for scholarships starting in October after enrollment.

Awards

The School awards tuition scholarship prizes for students who excel in the Rigorous Writing Exercise, a required year-long project that takes place during the third year of study.

Federal Financial Aid

While the School supports students who are receiving educational benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs, it does not accept or participate in any government subsidized educational loan program.
