In honor of the late Robert “Bob” Beryl Beck, Sr., a 1964 Alumnus of Nashville School of Law and well-respected business leader in our community, TDOT unveiled the Robert B. Beck, Sr. Memorial Interchange on Friday, February 25, 2023 (which is Mr. Beck’s birthday).

He and his wife, Martha Lu Beck who graduated NSL in 1989, were married for 63 years.  The two worked together and co-founded Beck and Beck Realty.  Mr. Beck was recognized, in 2018, by the Tennessee House of Representatives for more than 50 years of service and leadership, being acknowledged as the oldest living active real estate broker in Davidson County.  

The sign can be seen when you travel along Briley Parkway (State Route 155) near the Gallatin Road exit, which is mile marker 14. The eastbound sign is up and soon, TDOT will place a sign along the westbound lane.

Mr. Bob Beck passed away in February 2021.
