Position Description: Spicer Rudstrom’s Nashville office is seeking a litigator with experience in all phases of civil litigation, especially insurance defense and worker’s comp. Compensation is dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities include: Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and conference notes. Conduct depositions and handle court appearances. Conduct discovery research, analyze and summarize legal documents and contracts. Provide counsel to clients, including insurance claims personnel. Manage litigation caseload. Assist in handling complex cases
Qualifications & Skills include:
5+ years in civil litigation defense. Experience in worker’s compensation defense. JD degree from approved law school. Active member in good standing with the Tennessee Bar. Excellent writing, communication, and research skills
