Position Description: The law office of Vasek & Robbins, PLLC is currently accepting resumes for an investigator/law clerk position. An ideal candidate will be a student who is interested in learning the intricacies of the criminal process while being around other attorneys who practice probate, civil, and contract law.

Applicants need to have significant analytical skills, a significant interest in criminal law and in defending citizens accused of crimes. Applicants should be willing to work at every job at the law firm from the ground up. Applicants will be expected to have a professional appearance as they will be meeting with clients and discussing the details of the various cases in great depth.

The position will initially offer 32 hours per week. The pay is not a set rate and will vary upon the applicant’s skillset and goals. The pay for this position has traditionally increased considerably while the law student progresses through their studies.

This position will offer hands on experience on how the substantive law is applied and unlimited knowledge of a working law office.
