Nashville School of Law

Scholarship Available for Rising 3Ls and 4Ls

The East Tennessee Foundation, which oversees the Tennessee Judicial Conference Foundation Scholarship, has established a fund to recognize advanced law students who have demonstrated community involvement and/or a commitment to public service and who have a financial need.  This foundation will be awarding two (2) one-time scholarship grants, one in the amount of $3,000 and one in the amount of $1,500 to NSL third- and fourth-year students.

A scholarship committee will select the NSL representative from the qualified applicants.  The recipient may be required to attend and participate in the annual Tennessee Judicial Conference.  The Tennessee Judicial Conference Foundation provides the cost of travel, meals, and lodging.

If you are interested in being considered, please apply by letter to Dean William C. Koch, Jr. at 4013 Armory Oaks Drive, Nashville, TN 37204 no later than Thursday, May 17, 2018.  Your letter of application should explain your qualifications and interests and should be accompanied by a current resume.
