“I have found that graduating from NSL (being non-ABA accredited) hasn’t impeded my career in any way. I have been a candidate for US Magistrate Judge, offered magistrate judge in juvenile court and a criminal judge top candidate. I’m on the exec committee for the exclusive Inn of Court, and the committee for the Board of Professional Responsibility. Just stay clean. Do your job and be kind to people.”

“Through my work, I have gained invaluable knowledge such as writing, researching, and having a working understanding of the legislative process and how the government operates as a whole, which has aided me through all of my years at NSL.”
Heather Asbell '23

“Studying at NSL has shifted the way I look at almost everything in my life. The fact that I’m able to give back something to NSL for all that it’s given me is just my pleasure.”
